Can you use the Cricut Cake just like the Cricut Expression?

All my friends have a cricut, and they love them. I really like them too, except I definatly don’t have the money to buy all the extra items you need to purchase to truly enjoy one. Therefore, I have been looking into other machines where you can use any font you have on your computer and ones you download from the computer, and you can weld the letters together. I think that sounds awesome! My question is….what is better? What do you suggest?

What about the Graphtec Craft Robo? I hear that is really good…although the software for the circut sounds awesome….I just don’t know if I have hundreds of dollars to spend to get all the extras.

was wondering what people would think of me selling die cuts from my cricut machine? My kids like to use it too and I thought we could make some scrapbook stuff and sell it cheap at the sale instead of doing their typical lemonade stand. They love to make their own money and I think it is good for them, but what do you think about the cricut die cuts at a yard sale? If you think its a good idea, how much would you charge? I was thinking of doing individual letters that way people could spell out their own words or just buy 1 letter if thats all they needed. What do you think is reasonable? We are going to make other things too, but I have no idea what price range to use…Thanks for your opinions!
