Cricut, SCAL and drawing on paper!?
I am thinking of getting the Cricut Expressions along wiht SCAL. I know you can obviously cut with SCAL, but can you also just use the Cricut drawing feature so you could draw a title on paper or an outline or figure on paper? Thanks!
Actually you can connect a SCAL to the cricut and connect a cricut to a computer through a simple cable. Thats what SCAL is all about - but that wasnt my question - but thank you!!! Hopefully someone can tell me about my question! :))))))) I need to know about the drawing!
Cricut Expression Die Cutting Machine?
Like a lot of people I am doing some research about these machines. I’ve come across one that comes with inks, and was wondering if somebody can explain to me what the use of the inks are for. Im guessing its to draw out and image, but then is it still cut out too, I’m confused please help……………..please only answer if you know what you are talking about, not if you just think you do! Hubbs got me a Cricut machine for Christmas!?
I guessed and he couldn’t keep a straight face, so I know that’s what he got me! LOL I don’t know which one he got though. I was wondering what is comes with? Does it come with anything programmed or will I have to purchase a cartridge before I can use it?

Can I use a vinyl cutter for paper?
I do a lot of scrapbooking. I was looking at a cricut machine. Then my husband told me I should look at a vinyl cutter because you can do a lot more with it.
I read in forums about people making vinyl signs for there cars and things. I don’t want to print a picture on it, I just would want a blank cut out shape. Do they do that? Are they all different or do I need to find a specific one?
Does the Wild Card Cricut Cartridge work in the original Cricut?
I do not know anything about the Cricut machine, I am buying this for a gift. I have heard that the Wild Card cartridge does not work with the original, smaller, machine. Is this true, and is there a way around it? It looks like one of the better cartridges but I do not want to buy it if it will not work on the machine my Girlfriend has.

Will the Cricut Expression (or cartridges) go on sale after Christmas?
Did any of these machines go on sale last year after Christmas? I want one, and missed Wal-marts sale this year. I don’t want to deal with ebay and bidding, so that is out of the question.
